Fixed Point is a mobile app for welders who want to plan projects with precision before a single piece of material is cut.

The Problem We Are Solving

Welding students and hobbyists lose time and material to bad plans. You visualize a project mentally or sketch it on paper, but the moment you try to fit the pieces together, something is off. The compound angle you planned in your head does not match the metal in front of you. You re-cut. You waste material.

The pros solve this with CAD software that takes months to learn and thousands of dollars to license. Everyone else makes do.

What Fixed Point Does

Fixed Point gives you a precision planning tool that fits in your phone. Photograph your materials, input your dimensions, and see a 3D model of the finished assembly before fabrication starts. Generate a cut list and walk to the saw with a plan that works.

Who We Are Building For

Welding students at trade schools, DIY hobbyists, and small fab shops that do not have a CAD operator on staff. People who know how to weld and want to spend more time welding and less time recutting.

Where We Are

Fixed Point is in development. We are talking to welders, trade school instructors, and fab shop operators to make sure we build the right thing. Early access is available.
