How It Works

How Fixed Point Works

Fixed Point turns your phone into a precision planning tool for fabrication. Here is the process from photo to cut list.

Step 1: Photograph Your Materials

Point your phone at the stock you are working with. Fixed Point uses your camera to identify the material, detect edges, and estimate dimensions from a single photo.

Step 2: Input Your Measurements

Confirm or correct the auto-detected dimensions. Tap any measurement to adjust it. You can also enter measurements manually if you prefer to measure by hand first.

Step 3: Build the Assembly Model

Add pieces, set joint angles, and watch the 3D model take shape. Rotate it, check clearances, and catch fit problems before you cut anything.

Step 4: Generate Your Cut List

Fixed Point outputs a complete cut list with piece dimensions, quantities, and material totals. Take it to the saw and work through it in order.

Step 5: Weld With Confidence

Every piece is accounted for. Every angle is verified. You already know it fits before you strike an arc.
